Overview
* We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible *Registered Nurse (RN)* for a Float Pool position in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will provide care across *Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department (ER)* units. This role is ideal for candidates with strong *critical care, acute care, and emergency nursing* experience who are comfortable adapting to different clinical settings.

- Nights Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Holiday rotation required
- 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks

Responsibilities
*
- Deliver *direct patient care* across Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units
- Perform *patient assessments, monitoring, and clinical interventions*
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Collaborate with *physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff*
- Maintain accurate *EMR documentation and patient records*
- Respond to *emergency situations and critical patient needs*

Requirements

- Active *New York RN License*
- *BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required*
- Minimum *1+ year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care*
- Must be comfortable with *floating across multiple units*
*Certifications (AHA Required):*
- *BLS (Basic Life Support)*
- *ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)*
- *PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)*
- *NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)*

- Float Pool or Travel Nursing experience
- Strong *clinical judgment, time management, and multitasking skills*
- Experience with *Epic or other EMR systems*
