About this role
The CNA works closely with each of the clients and medical staff, on an individual basis providing assistance in the areas of medication observation and medical appointment scheduling, as well as overall client health, in an inpatient residential facility. Keeps all other Healthcare Technicians accountable in finishing all daily duties and keeping up with client care. JOB
Duties
Observation, documentation, audit functions, and record-keeping of all observed, inventoried, destroyed, and prescribed medications. Assessment of patients with undiagnosed or diagnosed conditions and assisting in ascertaining clinical medication management with the Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director. Observation, documentation, and record-keeping of client health status.
Works closely with Nurses, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Director, LMFT, and Case Managers on client health status and presenting conditions. Manages complete Medication Observation Record Sheets and system. Set all medical appointments for clients including medical, dental, and psychiatric as needed.
Education and counseling for clients and other organizational health care providers on optimal use of medicines. Attend staff meetings.
