Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Oncology Palliative Care

Working with a high degree of autonomy and under the guidance of the Medical Director, you will help develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate communication and care coordination, and support patients and families through complex treatment journeys. As a member of an established and supportive oncology program, you will collaborate closely with Medical Oncologists and a multidisciplinary team that includes Registered Nurses, Patient Navigators, Researchers, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Integrative Medicine specialists, Clinical Pharmacists, and other allied health professionals. This role also includes educating patients and caregivers about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and symptom management strategies.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate (NP or PA) Minimum of 2 years of palliative care experience as an APC required; oncology/cancer care experience strongly preferred Confident and decisive provider with strong independent practice skills Comfortable exercising clinical judgment autonomously Collaborative team player who values multidisciplinary partnerships Thrives in an environment that balances autonomy with robust peer and organizational support Demonstrates commitment to compassionate, evidence-based palliative care for cancer patients.
