Wellness Director / Director of Nursing (LPN)

As a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you can join our leadership team as the Wellness Director / Director of Nursing. In this vital role, you'll oversee daily clinical operations, ensure resident well-being, and lead a team of dedicated caregivers.

As our Wellness Director / Director of Nursing, you'll be responsible for:

Overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations and company policies
Completing resident assessments, developing individualized service plans, and conducting ongoing care evaluations
Coordinating physician orders, medication management, and resident healthcare services
Supervising, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers
Developing staff schedules and assisting with staffing needs to ensure appropriate coverage
Participating in resident admissions, move-ins, care conferences, and discharge planning
Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers
Monitoring resident health status and responding appropriately to changes in condition
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records
Promoting a culture of teamwork, compassion, accountability, and exceptional customer service
Requirements
Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare preferred
Experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or senior living strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Ohio assisted living regulations and clinical compliance requirements
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
Ability to effectively lead and develop a multidisciplinary team
