About this role
This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members. Assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes, exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions, and maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and the department's strategic goals and objectives. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.

Requirements
- RN
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred)
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice (Required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (Required)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire (Required)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire (Required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire (Required)
- Certification in clinical specialty area (Preferred)
