About this role
The Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing quality care to residents to maintain or regain physical, mental, and emotional well-being through quality of care and quality of life tasks. This position works closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support our resident’s needs.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide in this state
- Computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, dementia training

Duties
- Assists residents with the various activities of daily living and implements individual plans of care as developed. Encourages self-help and involvement in activities of daily living.
- Provides emotional and spiritual support to residents.
- Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care of resident
- Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, family members, personnel and support agencies
- Monitor resident’s vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff members
- Assists other nursing personnel as needed; Complete any tasks your director or supervisor assigns to you
