As an RN on the Neuro Pre/Post Critical Care team - located on the sixth floor of the Neuro Building, you will provide exceptional care to patients amongst 36 beds in this unit, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this role will work nights, 7:00pm to 7:30am.
A caregiver who excels in this role will
Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $35.50 Maximum hourly: $55.60
