About this role
Renders general and specialized nursing care to inmate patients in a Correctional Facility. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Performs nursing services including vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, specimen collection, emergency response, and patient assessments. Provides first aid, initiates medical referrals, administers and documents medications, orders supplies, and maintains electronic medical records. Requires Associates Degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, and in-person CPR certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
