About this role
A dynamic skilled nursing facility is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Certified Nursing Assistant. Thank you in advance for your interest in Waterview Nursing Care Center. We invite you to become a part of our team and look forward to reviewing your resume.
We seeking candidates for all three shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a). We are also a 1199 union facility seeking to fill both fulltime and parttime slots. all candidates must be able to work a minimum of every other weekend.
Our Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. Responsibilities may include the following:
Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs. Helping patients eat and take medications Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort Exercising patients by helping them walk
