As a Registered Nurse Weekend On-Call , you are an essential part of our 24/7 care model. You’ll provide skilled, responsive care during evenings, nights, and weekends addressing urgent patient needs, completing after-hours admissions, and offering calm, confident guidance during critical moments.

This role will be based out of our Lincolnshire branch and work Friday, Saturday, or Sunday 10 hour+ days making it a full time position, benefits eligible.

Registered Nurse On-Call Requirements &

Responsibilities

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates, Bachelors, or Masters)
  • 1+ years of recent acute care experience required; hospice or home care experience required
  • Current RN license in Illinois and CPR certification
  • Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates
  • Make routine weekend visits as needed
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, offering education and support to patients and caregivers
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation of care, outcomes, and communication
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance

The starting salary range for this role is $88,000-$98,000 annual base salary. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
