About this role
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to work in a medical center located in Torrance, CA. The candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience as a Behavioral Health RN. RNs will be providing comprehensive care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders in a 24-bed inpatient locked psychiatric unit.
RNs are responsible for delivering direct patient care, including monitoring mental and physical status, administering medications, supporting therapeutic interventions, and maintaining patient and unit safety through continuous observation and adherence to security protocols.
