Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor and document residents’ vital signs, health status, and changes in condition.
Perform nursing assessments and communicate significant changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
Provide care for residents with chronic conditions, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other geriatric care needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility’s electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Requirements
