Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an 13 week assignment in a Long-Term Care setting. The role involves providing quality nursing care to residents, including those with dementia and other chronic conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, good communication, and be willing to float as needed.

*Responsibilities*

  • Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor, assess, and document residents’ conditions and changes in health status.
  • Communicate resident needs and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide compassionate care to residents with dementia and other chronic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
  • Float to other assigned areas as required.
  • Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.

*Requirements*

  • Minimum of 1 year of LTC nursing experience.
  • BLS Certification
  • LPN license

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
