NURSE (CLINICAL/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT)

This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Naval Hospital, Directorate of Medicine, Emergency Medicine Department, Agana Heights, Guam. Provide direct care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention. Identify and interpret serious situations and implement proper emergency measures. Manage the delivery of nursing care for weekend, holidays, training holidays and day/evening or night shifts using knowledge of an extensive range of professional nursing theories, principles, and procedures. Participate in continuing education programs to update and maintain skills and knowledge to meet annual requirements. Provide guidance and leadership to other professional nurses and paraprofessional personnel. Respond to all emergencies during the shift.
