About this role

Presidential Care Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1-on-1 pediatric private duty nursing care in the comfort of the patient’s home.

  • *Base Pay:* $27.00/hour
  • *Pay including Overtime:* *$29.25/hour* (based on applicable overtime hours)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individualized, 1-on-1 nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home setting
  • Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care and physician orders
  • Monitor and document the patient’s condition and response to care
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate members of the care team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a home environment

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted California LVN license
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
  • Pediatric experience is not required
  • Additional paid training will be provided for qualified candidates
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled weekend shifts

Pediatric nursing experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome experienced LVNs from a variety of clinical backgrounds, including hospital, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, and outpatient settings.

Military veterans, experienced nurses, and retired nurses returning to the field are encouraged to apply.
