Registered Nurse - Joint Replacement Center

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care within the Joint Replacement Center, specializing in knee and hip surgeries.

Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, documents interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. Ensures compliance with safety, medication, and documentation protocols, and revises care plans based on evaluations. Completes clinical research forms, maintains required certifications, and participates in mandatory in-services and health screenings.

Must have a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, an active RN license in New York State, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least 6 months of experience. Physical ability to perform medium work, including walking, standing, and lifting, is required.

Additional Information: The role involves night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with a pay range of $38.67 - $51.92 per hour. The unit is accredited for excellence in joint replacement care and emphasizes continuous education and research participation.
