Our LPNs are responsible for providing direct nursing care, supervising day-to-day nursing activities, and ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
- Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge
- Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form
- Chart nurse’s notes in an informative and descriptive manner
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift

Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure
- Current CPR Certification
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
