About this role
Sierra Winds is currently looking for Medication Technicians for the newly opening Assisted Living Unit. We are committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative community where team members bring professionalism, compassion, and integrity to every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Management & Documentation Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations. Maintain accurate and timely entries in the Medication Assistance Record (MAR). Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room. Resident Care & Support Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Wellness Nurse or Assisted Living Manager. Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.
