About this role
The Specialty Care Transport Nurse will utilize the nursing process and established best practices to assess, plan, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in both the out of hospital and interfacility environments. They will understand and apply specialized critical care principles and techniques including basic and advanced life support treatment. Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining knowledge of patient care techniques, ensuring patient safety during transport, and adhering to organizational standards.
Qualifications include being a graduate of an approved School of Nursing and having the necessary licenses and certifications. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 60 days of entering position
- Valid Driver's License from a USA state
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support Certification or Trauma Nursing Core Course Certification within 60 days of entering position
