Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) - Springfield Regional Medical Center

The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determining the priority of the patient's problems and needs, implementing clinical nursing interventions, developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Essential functions include collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, caring for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity setting, evaluating and revising the plan of care, serving as point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments, providing care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma, and administering medications in a safe manner.
