About this role
Provision of nursing care services and care management for women with children (from birth to 12 years of age) at Interim House West. Responsible for overall coordination of the medical department, supervision of LPNs, nursing assistants, residential assistants, dispensing medication including MAT's, handling sick call, completing nursing assessments, coordinating medical services, maintaining medical records, on-call responsibility, and serving as liaison to Medical Director (psychiatrist). Requires 1 year of chemical dependency/addiction treatment experience, graduate from accredited nursing school, Licensed Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years pertinent experience, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain UDS.

Licensed Registered Nurse Experience in working with diverse populations and knowledge of diverse cultural needs. Basic understanding of medical and psychosocial causes relevant to chemically dependent persons. Ability to work with and educate non-medical staff. Knowledge of chemical dependency and the recovery process is required.
