Role

Overview

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and contributes to professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.

• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.

• Ensures effective communication across care continuum and proactively addresses barriers to involvement.

• Maintains safety standards and adheres to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Licenses & Certifications:

Valid RN license.

Experience

No prior experience required; 2+ years of nursing experience preferred.

Skills

Critical thinking, patient education, communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.
