About this role

Job Title: Clinic Nurse (LPN/RN). Location: 2407 Ring Rd., Suite 100, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. Travel: Yes, to other clinic locations. Work

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Clinic Nurse (LPN/RN) is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties within scope of practice and functions under the direction of their manager(s) and/or Director(s); respectfully interacts with all levels of staff; provides direct nursing care during assigned duty hours; participates in department activities; promotes independence; adherence to the attendance policy; encourages socialization; advocates for the quality of life of our patients while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards; supports the company's core values. Duties include preparing rooms for patients and allergy testing, calibrating PFT sensor daily, escorting patients to treatment rooms, assisting doctor with skin testing and procedures, sending prescriptions, completing asthma care plans and discharge summaries, EMR documentation, preparing and administering medications, pulmonary function testing, FeNO testing, peak flow monitoring, patient education, administering allergy injections, maintaining clinical area organization, HIPAA compliance, ordering supplies, training new staff, and working with Healix & Specialty pharmacies for Biologics/IVIG prescriptions.

  • LPN: Diploma from an accredited LPN program; RN: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; Current, valid, compact LPN or RN license in good standing to practice in the State of Kentucky; Current, valid CPR certification; BLS Certification; Valid driver's license; 1 year experience; English fluency; Outpatient experience; HIPAA compliance; Computer skills; Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
