About this role
Burnett Medical Center is currently seeking a part-time Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department.
Shift & hours
12-hour shifts (7pm-7:30am)
4 days per pay period
Every 3rd weekend.
One holiday per year and department need.
Job summary
The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all ages. Demonstrate personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice.
This position is benefit-eligible and includes PTO, health, dental and vision insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, employer-paid life insurance, along with up to a 3% match in our 401k retirement plan.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure to permit practice as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS certification required.
- Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS, TNCC, NRP, ENCP and/or PALS certified within 6 months of employment.
- Basic ECG Monitoring experience.
Knowledge, skills & abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse people.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions.
