About this role

Our Vascular Cardiac Unit is seeking a skilled nurse ready to grow into a leader role. Charge RN will work under the direction of the Nursing Director, works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s). May provide direct patient care.

This unit is dedicated to providing high quality, patient centered care for individuals undergoing cardiothoracic and vascular procedures including surgical interventions as well as general progressive patients. Currently a 24-bed unit, with expansion planned to 36 beds across 2 units.

  • Minimum one year of nursing experience
  • Associate Degree
  • ACLS Certification
  • Registered Nurse License - State of New Mexico or Compact State
  • Degree from accredited academic nursing program
