About this role

The Telephone Triage RN (TTRN) is a remote position responsible for triaging phone calls from unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) safely, efficiently, and effectively while upholding regulatory and policy requirements. This responsibility also includes accurate, detailed, and quality documentation, and follow up. The TTRN is designated as a Mandatory/Essential Employee. This employee is a Registered Nurse providing essential care to intellectually and developmentally disabled persons in the community, and is required to report to work during State and/or National emergency periods.

Requirements

  • AS, AA or BS Degree in nursing is preferred
  • Current/valid Maryland RN license or current/valid multistate compact license is required
  • CPR Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in the developmental disabilities environment is highly desired
  • Must have a working smart cell phone capable of making calls, receiving calls, receiving emails and sending emails
  • Must have reliable wireless internet
  • Must be able to fluently speak and understand spoken English
