Overview Department: Intensive Care Unit Shift: Full-time, Nights The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to adult and geriatric patients. The RN addresses the psychosocial, physical, and overall care needs of patients, ensuring safe and effective treatment in a critical care environment. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
