Key Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (DON) Lead and manage all nursing care operations across the facility. Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures that ensure top-quality, compliant care. Mentor, coach, and inspire nursing staff through feedback and development. Foster a positive, team-oriented, and supportive culture. Ensure nursing staff maintain current licensure and credentials. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and outcomes.
