Type: Part Time or Full Time Department: Nursing Department Job Details Position Overview Birkwood Village Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and oversight to our residents. As an RN in our community, you will play a key role in promoting wellness, coordinating care plans, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of life in a supportive and home-like environment. CPR Certification – Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required. Clinical Experience Preferred – Prior nursing experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting is a plus, but not required. Strong Communication Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, staff, and medical professionals. Leadership and Teamwork – Ability to lead and supervise care staff, support teamwork, and promote a positive work environment. Resident-Focused Attitude – A passion for senior care and the ability to advocate for residents’ dignity, health, and emotional well-being. Organizational Skills – Must be able to manage multiple priorities, respond to emergencies calmly, and complete documentation accurately and timely. Flexibility – Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts as needed. Physical Requirements – Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents with mobility as necessary.
