Registered Nurse position on the Medical Unit at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Responsible for delivery of patient care including assessment, care plan development and implementation, directing LPN and Nurse Assistant activities, and patient/family education. Night shift position with weekend/holiday rotation.

Requirements

Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or qualified multi-state license required
Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Previous experience in acute care preferred
BLS Certification (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer - LIVE class only) prior to employment or within 60 days of hire
Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire, renewed every 5 years
Cardiac Dysrhythmias and Management class or equivalent within 3 months of hire, and annual skill validation
12 Hour Night Shift (7pm-7:30am, Weekend/Holiday Rotation)
