A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Chicago, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to support the health and well-being of students within a school setting. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing direct nursing care and health assessments to students
- Managing student health records and medication administration
- Collaborating with school staff and families to develop individual health plans
- Promoting a safe and healthy school environment
- Responding to health emergencies and coordinating care as needed
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification as a School Nurse (CSN)
- Experience in a school health or pediatric nursing environment preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
