Administers nursing care under the guidelines of school systems in the area of support. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of student care. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of students and adult staff onsite. Manages illness and control of infectious diseases; implements immunization programs; provides school-based lectures on personal, social, and health care education, and assists teachers in dealing with children who have special healthcare needs such as asthma, diabetes and epilepsy as examples.

Requirements

Current RN licensure in the State the teammate practices (or LPN)
Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nurses
No experience required
CPR training for staff
Physical ability: full range of body motion, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extensive periods
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, on call
