Role & Responsibilities Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, supports unit coordination, and promotes safe, high-quality outcomes. Coordinates staff scheduling, education, and performance evaluations. Identifies and resolves issues affecting clinical services and patient flow. Performs quality assurance and assists with quality improvement initiatives. Serves as a resource on clinical standards, policies, and compliance with accreditation and legal requirements. Participates in performance improvement, continuing education, and may work across shifts or be on-call. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Current RN license, BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, effective communication, and proficiency with clinical software are essential. Key Duties Coordinate staffing and staff development Monitor compliance with standards Perform patient care as needed Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement Support team and organizational goals
