The VA New Mexico Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Manager Registered Nurse to serve in the Nursing, Emergency Department Operations Service. The Nurse Manager is the designated first-line supervisory authority responsible for the 24/7 operation of assigned units, direction and supervision of orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. They function as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to implement evidence-based programs and processes.
Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, aligns nursing objectives with organizational strategic outcomes, and promotes an inclusive workplace valuing diversity.
