Nurse - Wilchester Elementary - School Year 2026-2027 JobID: 7996 Position Type: Certified Professional/Nurse Date Posted: 7/31/2026 Location: Wilchester Elementary Spring Branch Independent School District Job Description: Nurse Job Title: Nurse Reports To: Building Principal Classification: Professional Wage/Hour Status: Exempt Days: 195 Salary: See Compensation Plan for Administrative/Professional Pay Plan, Pay Grade 103 Contract: Probationary/Term Date Revised: 11/15/2023 Primary Purpose: Responsible for the implementation and management of the school health program which is designed to serve each learner through the delivery of preventive care, provision of health education and the promotion of a healthful school environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
  • Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nursing
  • Must be CPR certified
  • Experience in community health or school nursing
  • Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures
