Valley Regional Home Health is currently seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse who would be able to work Saturdays and Sundays after training. Applicants must be able and willing to train Monday through Friday for at least one month. Our home health RNs see between 3-5 patients per day and drive between patient visits. Completes initial assessments, develops care plans, administers medications and treatments, counsels patients and families, and identifies discharge planning needs.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Licensed driver with insured automobile in good working order
  • Excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload independently
  • One year of home health experience preferred, but not required
  • BLS Certification
