We are seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with policies and regulations.
Monitoring and documenting patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment, and adjusting care as needed.
Providing education to patients and families about treatment options and health management.
Administering medications, assisting with emergency responses, and ensuring safe delivery of therapy.
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, supervising direct care staff, and participating in staff training.
Ensuring proper laboratory procedures and updating patient care plans.
Completing CAP requirements for advancement and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure.
CPR/BLS certification.
Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience, with preferred experience in hemodialysis.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks in a healthcare environment.
Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills.
This role involves direct patient care, physical activity, and teamwork in a healthcare setting, with supervision provided after meeting experience requirements.
