RN Coordinator-Gastro/Surgery- Kelsey Seybold Clinic-North Houston Campus

The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, technical and supportive patient care skills, infection control, management of information, environment of care, patient rights and responsibilities, human resources development, performance improvement, and cost containment.
