About the Opportunity

A hospital in Southampton, NY is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires the flexibility to float to CCU and the ED as needed, supporting critically ill patients across a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in both ICU and ER nursing, is comfortable floating between units, and brings cardiac cath lab experience as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU

• Float to CCU and ED as needed based on staffing needs

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient hemodynamic and neurological status

• Administer medications, sedation, and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols

• Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and interdisciplinary care teams

• Document patient care and progress accurately per hospital and regulatory standards

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Minimum 2 years of ICU and ER experience required

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification required

• PALS certification required

• TNCC certification required

• Moderate Sedation certification required

• NIHSS certification required

• Ability to float to CCU and ED required

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred

Schedule Details

• 3x12-hour shifts | Days or nights available

• Contract Dates: 9/7/2026 – 12/5/2026

• Shared housing available at a cost
