- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state(s)
- Multi-state licensure preferred
- Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state(s); multi-state licensure preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care, including prior experience as a DON
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and infection control protocols
- Proven leadership, team-building, and staff development skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and effectively manage multiple facilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and respond to urgent needs with flexibility
