Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) through the South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or Telemetry RN experience required
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, blood product administration, CIWA protocol, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, and chest tube maintenance
- Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drip titration (Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed) preferred
- Experience with insulin drip management for both DKA and non-DKA patients
- Experience with continuous bladder irrigation
