Full time Night Shift position at Mount Carmel (Diley Ridge Medical Center). Provides patient care for an assigned group of patients utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation). Includes CLIA-waived testing, delegation, communication, patient and family education, continuity planning, safe practice, collaboration with physicians and healthcare disciplines, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Reports to Clinical Manager, Assistant Clinical Manager/Educator, Charge Nurse or designee. Supervises licensed and unlicensed staff.
Requirements
Graduate from a school of nursing, BSN preferred
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Previous health care experience, in an acute hospital setting preferred
BLS Healthcare Provider, required upon employment
ACLS required, or willing to complete within first year of employment
PALS required, or willing to complete within first year of employment if hired into the Emergency Dept
Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
