ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Grants Wellness & Rehabilitation in Grants, New Mexico. Job Responsibilities: Provide outstanding care to patients and ensure that their needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal, and local guidelines Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting Experience in treating wounds/woundcare and utilizing the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs

Document any change in patient's conditions and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges Make rounds with physicians when necessary Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction

Requirements

  • Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one
  • Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required
