Registered Nurse - Days - Flex Unit

Role: Registered Nurse responsible for patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and evaluation in a psychiatric setting. Perform professional nursing duties, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Collaborate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing thorough handoffs. Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop treatment plans that address physical, psychosocial, and educational needs. Participate in setting and achieving departmental goals, contribute to program improvements, and assist in staff selection and orientation. Attend training, serve as a role model, and educate community groups on mental health topics. Supervise direct patient care as needed, working within budget constraints. Qualifications and Skills: Nursing degree, current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, CPI certification within 90 days, and confidentiality.
