Job Title: Registered Nurse-Emergency Room Location: St Johnsbury VT 05819
Contract 13 weeks
Shift: 7 pm - 7 am. Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed. Pay Rate: $70-$82/HR Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Start Date: Flexible
Requirements
- Current VT or compact multi-state RN License, BLS, ACLS required.
- Minimum 3 years ER RN experience required. TNCC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, rural Emergency Department while ensuring safe and effective treatment.
- Assess patients and evaluate outcomes , identifying changes in condition and adjusting the nursing care plan as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively in a busy 9-bed Emergency Department, maintaining quality care under pressure.
- Respond proactively to emergency situations and support the ED team in delivering timely, patient-centered care in a critical access hospital environment.
