RN- Seasonal Flu Clinic We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our seasonal Flu Clinic. This is a great opportunity for nurses looking for a short-term assignment focused on community health and vaccination services! Location: East Bay float OOR SSF float Start Date: 9/8 Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts Shift Times: Variable start times Earliest: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Latest: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Job Duties Administer influenza vaccinations in accordance with established clinical guidelines and protocols. Assess patients prior to vaccination and review health history for contraindications or precautions. Educate patients on vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies. Accurately document vaccine administration and patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention standards. Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience. Provide exceptional customer service while supporting community vaccination efforts. Note: this role is not per-diem Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oakland, CA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
