Registered Nurse - Surgery Center - PreOp

Position Overview This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and assessing the effectiveness of care provided by team members. The nurse coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards, mission, and values. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using the nursing process Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and adhere to organizational standards Ensure proper documentation and communication Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program Current RN license in the state or compact licensure Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or others may be required based on the unit
