Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide care for patients with a variety of behavioral health disorders whose ages range from adolescent through geriatric. The LPN/LVN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/LVN implements therapeutic interventions developed by the treatment team and tracks patient progress towards treatment plan goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit. Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments. Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques.
Available Schedules
Day: 7:00am to 7:30pm Night: 7:00pm to 7:30am

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred, but not required. New Graduates accepted.
Age-Specific Competencies
Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric
Licensure/Certification
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of South Carolina. *New Graduates Accepted*
CPR/CPI Certification Required – provided upon hire
