Registered Nurse: Responsible for the evaluation, treatment, reassessment, and discharge of all referrals they accept. Promptly respond to referrals. Write the plan of care for LPN or HHA to follow. Conference with LPN or HHA for patient care. Communicate with the home health agency to report status at evaluation, reassessment, discharge, and if any irregularities arise. Schedule their visits. Complete their invoice. Complete all documentation within 36 hours of visit. Coordinates and oversees all aspects of patients' home care. Educates families on patient condition, care and needs. Performs physical assessments. Checks vital signs and manages medications. Gives injections, IV therapy or tube feedings. Administers and maintains catheters. Pay: $55.00 - $80.00 per hour.
