Registered Nurse, Foster Wing, Per Diem

Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Major responsibilities include utilizing the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient's care from Admission to Discharge, performing patient assessment/reassessment, developing and coordinating individual plan of care including discharge planning, directing and evaluating nursing care, delegating appropriately, documenting patient care, developing education plans for patient/family, administering medications, performing treatments and therapies, assisting physicians with procedures, participating in Nursing Governance activities, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
